Facilitation and Design Services

dsc_0065 Clients range from individuals to small business owners, community organizations, neighborhood associations, local and regional government and all share a passion for projects that are life enhancing.  My approach works with clients to:

  • Be open and willing to imagine new visions and ways of accomplishing goals within whatever the resource limitations.
  • Have an interdisciplinary approach where all who are involved have wisdom to share and a greater sense of ownership and support by all stakeholders.
  • Pursue ecological, community and economically vital goals to create projects that will both satisfy and endure.
  • Be flexible and adaptive as we learn and in the planning as we progress and seek new insights as circumstances change over time.
  • Create projects that are truly unique, with character, honesty and beauty.

There are three primary focus areas of this work:

Coaching and Mentoring – providing one on one and small group support with change and developmentMy role is to notice subtle possibilities that are often hidden in the background. By listening deeply to what you are experiencing in the moment we will begin to unfold obstacles and move beyond the sensation of feeling stuck.

Community Development Projects – working with developers, neighborhoods and city agencies to create developments that are vibrant, mutually satisfying and ecologicalThese projects often revolve around creating a better bridge between different stakeholder groups. Here the focus is on the importance of clarifying roles and how decisions are made with the goal of creating a common vision and actionable outcomes that everyone can be engaged in.

Ecological Design and Restoration- working with clients to enhance the ecology, livability, beauty and value of homes, offices and small businesses

This work includes people doing home additions or restorations, creating studio spaces, preparing homes for sale, helping manage restoration projects and offering brainstorming sessions to explore highest impact improvements people can make within whatever budget limitations.
